I recently wrote about Perfect Day’s patent disputes in Australia.

Patent battles over dairy alternatives

In the U.S., an Ex Parte Reexamination was filed by an anonymous party for Perfect Day’s patent 11,457,649.
We have been told that the USPTO website is still unable to confirm this, but we will keep you posted if there is any movement here as well.
The US patent 11,457,649 is a continuation of the international application common to the Australian patent above, and it is unclear whether Fonterra, the opponent of the pending Australian patent, has initiated the reexamination in the US.
